Sasha

Saturday, December 13, 2008

We just bought a female persian kitten a few days ago. Isn't she cute? She's only 3 months old. My sister and I agreed to call her Sasha which suits her just fine.

Funny the day we bought her we got lost looking for the sellers house in Paranaque not to mention our car overheated in the middle of the road and that was 11 in the evening!

It was all worth it though since Sasha's a joy to be with.

Chilis at Greenbelt

I had dinner tonight with Steffy at Chilis, Greenbelt. Birthday and Christmas gift niya sa akin (hirap talaga pag birthday mo december din... Just kidding Steffy!).

I almost didn't finish my meal since we ate alot as in ALOT. We had a large plate of refillable nachos with cheese and salsa. I recon we could have eaten 2 plates if our main course didn't come so early. Kudos to the staff for the fast service. They were so accomodating with our orders.

We ate Fajitas and I tell you the beef was so scrumptous. It was cooked medium rare, just the way I liked it. I could have eaten alot if it wasn't so heavy to the stomach. I'm starting to drool right now just thinking about it.

Thanks Steffy! I had a wonderful time ^_^

Wolfgang: Black Christmas Project Concert

Thursday, December 11, 2008

I've just been to the Wolfgang reunion concert in Eastwood Libis this evening with Andrew and Eron and, pardon my choice of words, damn! That was one hell of a performance they made!

After 6 years of haitus Wolfgang once again made a new album titled "Villains" and to celebrate they had a reunion concert in Eastwood, Libis. Sadly their original drummer, Wolf Gemora, was replaced by a new member,Francis Aquino (of band Monkeyspank), since he was busy with his new band Lokomotiv.

Opening act was done by Power Spoons, a band originally from cebu, who sang the song "Bakbakan na" which I usually hear in NU 107 . Suprisingly Razorback, another filipino heavy metal band, was the second opening act, belting out 5 songs to everyones delight.

Wolfgang then appeared and sang 15 songs. Basti's voice still as perfect as it was years ago. You really have to appreciate his voice as he sang their classic as well as the new songs in their album.

The first song they sang was Sanctified which made the audience roar in excitement. They ended their set with Arise and had an encore with Halik ni Hudas. Other popular favorites are Tulisan, Mata ng Diyos, Darkness Fell and Natutulog kong Mundo.

Sadly, they didn't sang other fan favorites like No Falter, A Matter of Time and Atomica.

They sang some songs in their new album although I'm still not familiarized with it. The new songs still retain the classic heavy metal beat they had and I'm glad they didn't change their style after all this years.

I've got to say that I'm very satisfied with Wolfgangs live performance and every bit of my money was well spent from watching their concert. If ever they'll have another one I'll defenitely watch it again.
