I was horrified with what happened and replied to the thread with this:
wth kalokohan naman yung nanyari. Is our country that corrupt that politicians can punch an old man and a teenager and get away with it?
I hope and I really really do that justice will be served in this incident. I actually gave up with our government already. I don't trust anyone in the government anymore unless they prove it otherwise to me.
Regarding the link sir Jomarx (http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/01/12/09/dela-paz-says-valley-golf-decision-unfair) has provided it seems the golf country club only cares for its prestige. If you read the whole article they keep asking questions regarding what people say about their staff and their club. That's why they're afraid of what the Mr. Dela paz's daughter might say in her blog. It only serves them right and I hope everyone will spread the word regarding their management.
Regarding the politicians involved I hope they rot in hell. We don't need people like that to lead our country. That's why nothing ever happens right in the Philippines nowadays because of people like that. I hope that their names will be forever smeared because of the incident BUT this is reality and in reality news like these are dimes a dozen and will be forgotten months afterwards. I just hope for our, and the countrys, sake that justice will be done as quickly as possible.
Let this be a lesson that everyone has to do their part in helping our country rise as a nation. If not because of those staff members being apathetic to the incident and to those self centered politians that thinks they can do whatever they want nothing will ever change and we will slowly degress into a pathetic state of a country.
